Steve’s free range, vegetarian fed chicken is high in manganese and magnesium two nutrients that are crucial in preventing ACL tears. The raw meat chicken diet has a mid-range fat and protein, making it a good option for high-energy dogs.

Steve’s Real Food uses whole foods to ensure that your dogs are getting the phytochemicals, antioxidants, enzymes, essential fatty acids, and other disease-fighting nutrients that they need. They believe dogs need a nutrition above and beyond AAFCO’s minimum standards. All raw ingredients are ground and formed either into 3/4″ nuggets or patties, and then quick frozen to seal in nutrition. The nuggets thaw much faster than patties or chubs, so you just need to pour them into a bowl and thaw for a few minutes.
